HistoryEdit

2016-2017 SeasonEdit

Ultimate had a successful season, finishing with a 42-19-9 record. In addition, it is the first time in franchise history that the Royals have three players with 100 or more points, and the third time in their history where they had two players with at least 100.

The coach, Bryan Church commented on the fact he is happy his team was able to "resurge" from last season. However, he had talked about the "imbalance" in the line chemistry, citing it as the top 6 being responsible for more points "than they should have".

Oliver Marton captured the Red Stick Trophy for the third time in his career, earning 120 points; Sid Friar got his third 100-point season, getting the game-winning goal and an assist in the final game of the season, a 2-0 victory, and Paul Ford got 104 points - his first 100-point season. Paul got an assist in the final 25 games of the season - a franchise record.

2017-2018 SeasonEdit

Ultimate selected 30th overall in the 2017 SHL Draft - McKay Raxon. In addition, they managed to trade the Sedinos twins to the White Warlocks and Brown Buccaneers for Bill Bradker and Braydon Schev respectively, paying the teams additionally $1.5m in compensation for each. They acquired Landon Gettsburg and their 2018 SHL Draft pick from the Black Blades for Lazslo Jones. In addition, they signed undrafted goaltender Kris Vallberg to an entry-level contract. Kris was described by Varo Rukt as a "huge goaltender".
