History
2015-2016 Season
The Saviors added Drew Gaudron to their roster, with Andy Marketh playing his last ten games of the season to mark his retirement. The Saviors participated in 28 overtime games which their record was 15-13, the most in franchise history and the most in the league since the Ultimate Royals who participated in 26 games where their record was 24-2. At one point, Scarlet won seven games in a row, becoming 1st in the Risen division over Team X, though lost the hold two games later. Scarlet finished second in the division, the first under new coach David Roskild. Drew Gaudron was nominated for the Soundwave Trophy and Roskild for the Coach of the Year, coming in third for both in voting.
Scarlet played the Kimberly Knights in the first round of the SHL Cup playoffs. Despite Kimberly's second wind of offense, they defeated them in seven games, winning the final game 2-1 in overtime. Both Gaudron and enemy goaltender Ken Northberg faced 45 shots. They went on to face Team X, who won four in a row, a reverse sweep, losing to them in six games. Scarlet broke a postseason franchise record with 47 shots in Game 2 of the series, in which they were shutout 2-0.
2016-2017 Season
Scarlet's second year under David Roskild became their most successful season to date. Scarlet finished 52-12-6, earning the Kingship Trophy for the first time in franchise history. Scarlet's offense was the highest to date, scoring 251 goals, beating the record during the Varo Tyutin era of the 2006-2007 Season where they scored 250, the most of any team with less than 40 regulation wins. Drew Gaudron later was nominated for the Goliath Ironwall Trophy, and Jesse Valwell was nominated for the Iron Fist Trophy.
