During the 2014-2015 Season, Rodgers left the Yellow Flash for the New Harbour Blues, stating that he "felt like I had no future with this team". He played for two seasons with the Blues before being put on waivers. He signed a one-year contract with the New Arbour Rockets, acting as a tertiary goaltender.
After a one year stint with the Rockets, Aaron was released. After being a free agent, the Yellow Flash "reluctantly" signed Rodgers to a PTO to duel with John Coburn on the tertiary goaltending spot. However, Aaron was eventually released. Unable to find another team, Aaron later considered playing in the LSHL, but announced retirement two weeks later. Rodgers has expressed that despite the differences between him and his former team, that he can retire as a member of the Flash.
Rodgers finished his career with 221 wins, 202 losses, and 42 overtime games.
